mobiCARE™ +Cardio solution enables physicians to provide services such as
Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring
– 24-hour Holter monitoring
– Cardiac event monitoring
– Mobile cardiac telemetry
Real-time patient monitoring in the cardiac rehabilitation center
In-hospital bedside monitoring
SEERS’ Bio Patch is a skin adhesive wearable device with a single lead cable.
Due to its light and compact design, patients can easily put the patch on their chests and continue their daily routines. The Bio Patch improves patients’ engagement and enhances the reliability of collecting data.
SEERS’ Bio Patch boosts the efficiency of ambulatory cardiac monitoring solutions such as Holter monitors, event recorder, and mobile cardiac telemetry with lower costs and higher accuracy.
The analysis algorithm of mobiCARE™ +Cardio allows doctors to detect an arrhythmia, such as atrial fibrillation, more accurately, and the cloud-based web service increases the accuracy and efficiency of the analysis and diagnosis tasks
Cardiac rehabilitation is a critical component of the secondary prevention of coronary artery disease and is well established as a means of improving outcomes in patients with coronary artery disease.
The benefits of cardiac rehabilitation include reduced mortality and morbidity rates, enhanced cardiac function, improved myocardial performance, and decreased risk factors for coronary artery disease.
In cardiac rehabilitation centers, rehabilitation is carried out based on physical therapy (physiotherapy) with aerobic exercise. Cardiac telemetry is used to monitor the patient’s heart rate and symptoms during exercises and to operate personalized rehabilitation programs for each patient. Moreover, in the case of home-based cardiac rehabilitation, mobile health care service with a Bio Patch may provide a means of improving compliance with cardiac rehabilitation.
The advantages of SEERS’ Bio-Patch, such as ease of wear, high accuracy, and long-term measuring capability, provide an optimal wireless cardiac monitoring solution for patients’ heart rehabilitation.
Due to weakened immune systems, patients admitted to hospitals are vulnerable to infections or acute illnesses, and this sometimes leads to death. To avoid deterioration or death of in-patients, medical staff should monitor patients’ vital signs constantly and respond to those changes in a timely manner.
For patients using the wearable Bio Patch, mobiCARE™ +Cardio provides continuous monitoring solutions regardless of the movement and activity of the patient, so medical professionals can respond promptly through the early detection of symptoms. Ultimately, this will improve the patients’ outcomes and reduce the cost of additional medical care or death.
SEERS’ MC100D is a disposable Bio Patch that monitors the patients’ ECG, heart rate, respiration rate, activity, and axillary temperature during hospitalization. mobiCARE™ +Cardio will detect the indicators of deterioration such as sepsis, acute respiratory distress, myocardial infarction, heart failure, pneumonia, thyrotoxicosis, pulmonary embolism, hypoxia, and hypothermia in the early stages so that the medical professionals can prevent the adverse situation in advance.
How it works
A physician prescribes a patch for the cardiac monitoring of a patient.
The patient wears the prescribed Bio Patch, which collects ECG data.
The ECG data is collected on a mobile device with an ECG diary noted by the patient and is transferred to the cloud.
The mobiCARE™ +Cardio algorithm performs an analysis of the transferred ECG data and classification of heartbeat for diagnosis by the physician.
The physician receives a primary analysis report and utilizes it for his/her diagnosis and medical decisions.
